New results at 1000-3000 m of Galina Vinogradova and running economy testing

Winter is over and last few month Galina set up some good results in 1000 m, 1500 m and 3000 m.

Galina participated in indoor track competition:

1500 m - 4:35.0 (Barnaul, 14/12/2014)
3000 m - 9:54.0 (Barnaul, 15/12/2014)
1500 m - 4:33.0 (Barnaul, 05/01/2015)
1500 m - 4:32.5 (Barnaul, 10/01/2015) PB, lactate 15.0 mmol/l
3000 m - 9:37.0 (Barnaul, 11/01/2015), lactate 16.4 mmol/l

Victory in Altai Regional championships, 3000 m (22/02/2015)

She set up two PB (1000 m and 1500 m), and completed 3000 m close to her PB - 9:31.65.

One day after last race at POM she made also physiological and biomechanical testing. Test consists from 8 minutes at 16 km/h. Qualisis system allowed to make gait and kinematic analysis:

Also this test provides information about  running economy and oxygen uptake kinetics.

Running economy of Galina Vinogradova is 193.0 ml/kg/km. 200 ml/kg/km is the edge of good running economy. Best running economy among women has world record holder in marathon - Paula Radcliffe - 175 ml/kg/km. And Zersenay Tadese (half-marathon world record holder) has best running economy among men - 150 ml/kg/km
